WORLD BOOK DAY 2023

Remembrance Day - In collective worship this week we have been thinking about how and why we remember those who have fought for our country. Our Year 2 children created their own poppy wreaths, with messages and drawings of thanks and hope on the individual poppies.

CARNIVAL DAY - THE KITCHEN DISCO

YEAR R NATIVITY

We had an amazing day at the Church  telling the special story of the nativity. The children were wonderful and we all felt so proud as they sang and danced and acted out the story.  I think you will agree that these pictures capture the special feeling of the day, the wonder of such a memorable event in our lives and the specialness of the story.  It was fabulous. Thank you for all your help, and we hope you enjoy the pictures,

COMPETITIVE SPORTS DAY

Quadkids

On Tuesday 27th June a team of 4 girls and 4 boys attended the New Forest Schools Sports Quadkids athletics finals held at Southampton Sports Centre. Each child completed a sprint, 300m run, standing long jump and howler throw, with their combined scores giving a final team score. All of the children gave their all and demonstrated great determination, skill and sportsmanship while coming in second place, gaining a silver medal each.

Team Super Schools Sports Challenge

On Friday 23rd June our children took part in a Team Super Schools Sports challenge. The children completed 4 sports activities and then had their photos taken with Kristian Thomas, GB mens Olympic gymnastics captain. The children then watched a great display of gymnastics from Kristian and were able to ask him questions about his sporting career. What an enjoyable and inspiring afternoon.
