Illness at School 

If your child is taken ill at School we will contact you to ask that he/she be taken home in order to feel more comfortable. It is, therefore, important that we have up to date contact numbers. It is surprising how suddenly young children can become ill. 

The NHS has a website page entitled 'Is my child too ill for school?' Please see the link below. Also there is Guidance on Infection Control in Schools and other Childcare Settings issued by Public Health England, for the recommended period of absence from school for each infection or complaint. A copy is available from the School Office on request.
